Marcus Rashford: Social media makes racism too easy

Marcus Rashford says social networking platforms make racism’simple’ and urged them to do more to tackle the issue that is internet.
England and the Manchester United has been one of a number of players mistreated in recent weeks, after missing a punishment through United’s 2-1 defeat against Crystal 36, exposed to tweets moments.
Rashford believes the solution to the challenge is straightforward – .
“For me personally, it is too simple to do whatever you prefer on the internet,” Rashford said before England’s European Qualifier from Bulgaria.
“Any people today could go on and make reports and write what we need under anyone’s posts and nobody would ever know.
“The remedy is simple to work out if you’d like to show identification to make an account which means everybody can only have one account.
“For me personally, there is thousands of people who use my name on social media and they can write what they like.”
“But folks are talking out and people are listening hopefully we could put it right.”
In an effort Twitter are proposing to monitor 50 footballers’ accounts – .
“That doesn’t affect anything, the number of accounts out there is absurd – a lot of them aren’t doing it out of their accounts, they’re all dummy accounts,” Rashford additional.
“To be honest, if it proceeds people will only start to come off the programs if it they wind up doing more bad than good”
This week, Chris Powell was appointed as a mentor in the England set up and Southgate thinks it’s important to provide opportunities to people from ethnic minorities.
On the appointment of the previous Charlton, both Huddersfield and Southend supervisor:”We’re trying to be at the forefront of giving chances to coaches from minority cultural groups and Chris is a good example of someone who’s fully capable, has good experience as a manager and obviously experience of worldwide football – he has actually worked with some of the players in our squad when he turned into a team manager.
“So, I’m hoping it is going to become a fantastic insight for him to how we work. He’ll have the ability to bring.
“We hope to create role models that young people can aspire to. They can see there is opportunity, that they can see that a number of the hurdles they feel are there, have been broken down. We believe that’s a very powerful and important message”
